Franchise Freight is, at its heart, a community-based and community-oriented business. Despite our aspirations to be a national presence in the transportation logistics industry, one of the keys to our success is a close relationship with the local economies in areas where we franchise.

Our office, in Morganton, North Carolina, is a prime example. When we opened, we sought to put local drivers to work, and we sought to develop relationships with some of the major industrial presences in the area to provide for their shipping needs. We have been highly successful on these fronts so far, and our commitment to local economic prosperity has not gone unnoticed. Our presence is so highly valued that the City of Morganton became one of our earliest major investors with a $10,000 block development grant in June of 2011.

With each new franchise, we will replicate the practices that established us as a successful business in Morganton. Communities should welcome and encourage our franchises because we facilitate economic success not only for ourselves but for the drivers, businesses, and municipalities with whom we partner.
